FRUITS AFTER FOOD
Fruits are the healthiest food gifted to us from the nature. It contains natural sugar, vitamins, anti oxidants fibres and other vital nutrients. There is a myth that it is unhealthy to eat fruits after eating food. Generally we can eat more fruits in empty stomach. But eating fruits after food is good for health. The fruit contains fibers (roughage) which is very good for our stomach when eaten in night time. That is why we eat banana in night after our supper. Tropical fruit like mango, pineapple and papaya has enzymes which help for digestion of our food. In hotels the fruits are given in dessert. And also a research by British medical journal says that people who eat fruits lot live longer than others. They have an decreased risk of heart diseases. The natural sugar and water present in the fruits helps to hydrate and give energy to our body. Another myth is that if we drink cold water after meal it will produce stomach cancer. When we drink cold water it may affect our throat and teeth, once it goes into our stomach it won’t be cold there for long time. So there is no chance of producing stomach cancer and all.
